Ashley Nisbet

Dr Nisbet is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Bristol Heart Institute since 2014. She previously trained in the West of Scotland then in Royal Melbourne Hospital in the management of complex arrhythmias. Her current interests include ablation of atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT and complex arrhythmias in adults with congenital heart disease. She has an active role in education of undergraduates previously as Undergraduate Lead for Cardiology at South Bristol Academy, University of Bristol Medical School, and now postgraduate trainees as Cardiology Training Programme Director for Severn Region. Dr Nisbet sits on the British Heart Rhythm Society Council and on the European Heart Rhythm Association Certification Committee for the Electrophysiology Certification Exam. Research interests include atrial fibrillation, and arrhythmias and sudden death in congenital heart disease.
