Dr James Ip graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University, and went on to attend Harvard Medical School. He is currently associate professor and director of cardiac pacing and implantable devices at Weill Cornell Medical School in New York, US.
He is principal investigator for multiple clinical trials, including the wiSE CRT trial, the SOLVE CRT Trial, the AVEIR DR study, the NODE trials, and the INSTANT trial.
His research broadly focuses on cardiac arrhythmia mechanisms.
