A new policy statement released by HRS underscores the importance of continual training and education for electrophysiologists performing catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF).

In this short interview, Dr Kenneth Ellenbogen (VCU School of Medicine, US) discusses the key recommendations within this policy statement to ensure a strong electrophysiology base and skillset to achieve the best outcomes in reducing patient's arrhythmia-related symptoms with catheter ablation.
